In the beginning of june, we held our first futsal training of the year. Our legs were heavy but we really had a lot of fun!
It reminds me that soccer isn't only "moneymoneymoney", it's something to have fun with your friends!

A few days after this training session, our team participated at a tournament, where we gave our best, even if we couldn't win it^^

We welcome all of our residents that could be interested in playing futsal and having fun with us! :)

We will let you know about our next training session via the Sakura House blog or facebook pages.

See you soon!!

DSC00527.JPGSo, after the delicious Czech restaurant, me moved to Shinjuku, to end the evening at karaoke!
We first decided to stay for 1 hour, but we had so much fun that we didn't noticed the time was passing by so quickly, that we exceeded one hour...^^  Above all, I enjoyed the duos we sung together, like "Bring me to life" from Evanescence or "A whole new world" (Aladdin) ;)

Finally, we were singing for 1h30, after what we had to hurry and go back to the train station, in order not to miss the last train.

All Sakura House, Yoshiko and myself want to thank Matej for trusting us and staying with us! We are also happy he participated to so many events.

Matej, we wish you the best for your return in Europe! See you in Japan, Czech Republic or somewhere else, as the world isn't as big as it seems :D. Take care.

Yesterday evening, on the 15th of june 2010, we held a party to celebrate the end of Matej's 2 month stay in Japan!

Matej is a resident of the Kagurazaka guest house, he's from Czech Republic. He came to Japan for a 2 month internship. He quickly became a good friend of us, as he participated to a lot of Sakura events (soccer, base-bal, etc.)! We will remember his incredible kindness and modesty. We also gave him the nickname "M. Wikipedia", as Matej really knows a lot about many things! He's like a living encyclopedia :)

To celebrate Matej's departure, we first went to eat Czech food at a nice restaurant in Omotesando. We tasted gulash, fish, "czech" potatatoes, etc. It was very tasty!! (the service was great too :P)

After eating and talking a lot, we went off for Shinjuku, so the evening could go on... ;)

soccer shibuya.jpg

Last night in Shibuya went crazy......and do you still do not know why???
Because Japan national team beated Cameroon 1-0!!

Supporters got crazy because of  Japan's victory. They were singing, dancing, and shouting all together!!!

Japanese usually don't get along with strangers, but only during the World Cup season, "they are all friends".
This game unifies all Japanese, and that's why they love the World Cup.

The next game will be on 19th of june, Saturday:
Japan Versus Holland
Starting at 8:30PM.

Whatever the result will be, japanese people shoud already be proud of their SAMURAI BLUE!
