How is your city?!
Is it bright and sunny? Or cold and breezy if you live in the Southern Hemisphere?

Anyways, in summer..I cant eat my favorite food...STEAKS or anything that is beef! Is it just me? I don't know, but I cant have red meat as much, like I don't crave for it like I do in colder weather.

I was off work yesterday, and although I knew that the weather was so 'grey', my friend and I decided to go to Daikanyama station (on Tokyu Tokyoko line) for 'raw/vegan cafe'!
There is only one RAW food restaurant in Tokyo and another one but they are opened only 3 or 4 times a month.

Raw food is not so popular here in Japan yet, like the States or U.K., but I wanted to eat raw food yesterday and be vegetarian for few days (lol)!

We ordered a salad plater with raw bread and tomato and nuts paste and nori-maki (seaweed rolls) salad plater (they only had 2 food on their menu). So, I ordered the salad plater and my friend ordered the nori-maki plater. The price of their food are not exactly cheap, but if you are looking for fresh, organic (when I say organic, I mean Organic!) and colorful veggies, you should definitely try! I love raw food! It gives me the energy and the sweet or bitter taste from the veggies are something you can not taste any where else and mixtures of different veggies and nuts and raisin, it is just YUMMY! Oh, not to mention.. I usually don't eat raw carrots, but the carrots there were way tooooooo sweeeet to be missed out! I had to eat it :)

Green smoothie

Oh, also their 'smoothie of the day' was good! They did not add ice to the smoothie, which meant tasting all the freshness of Komatsuna leaves (similar to spinach), grapefruits and pineapple! Sweetness and the bitterness all mixed up and I tasted everything that was in it! It was just GREAT!  I forgot to take a picture of the Chocolate Mousse we had as our dessert, as you know, it is a RAW food. So, no heat. The mousse was made of avocado and cocoa! The size was decent and the taste was hmmm very Very VERY RICH!

I am definately going there very soon! They close early.. at 7 P.M. but I need to try their other menus that they don't make during the lunch time!

Are you a dancer? Practicing Yoga? Pregnant? Going on a diet? BUT, You dont like the taste of the veggies? Well, you will not say so, after trying their veggies!
You should well, we should all go for FRESHNESS once in a while!
Oh, if you are living along the Tokyu Toyoko line and want to feel fresh and get your energy back..I highly recomennd this cafe you!

We have houses and apt. along this To-yoko line too!

Kakinokizaka semi apt.

As there is a common saying that

"The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence."

we are  so jealous of other people.

The answer of this matter is just thinking that as if it was your own.

Take a look at this!

Bonjour everyone !

Have you ever been to Onsen, japanese hot spring ?
Maybe most of you who are in Japan now have already tried those so typical natural hot baths. Onsen are a major tourist attraction drawing anyone (Japanese as well as foreigners) who wants to get away from the hectic life of the city and relax. Onsen are a central feature of Japanese tourism often found out in the countryside but there are a still dozens of establishments still found within major cities, including of course Tokyo !

Among those urban onsen, a very original one can be found in Togoshi area.
The place is called "Togoshi Ginza Onsen" and is located two minutes away from Togoshi and Togoshi Ginza Stations (Asakusa line / Ikegami line), 10 minutes from Gotanda.

Usually onsen water is clear but some have green, yellow or grey water as a result of high mineral content. But at "Togoshi Ginza Onsen", water is ... black ! We have checked it !
This is due to the presence of, among others, sodium hydrogen carbonate in the water which comes from 500 meters above Tokyo.
Bathing is that water is not only relaxing but also beneficial for all kind of little illness such as muscle ache, joint pain, neuralgia, weariness etc... Just perfect after a hard day's work or a long touristic walk around the city !
