Today is my last day of internship in Sakura House... I know, time flies and I am already missing everyone at Sakura House as I write this post in the office.
For the past 2 days, I had been attached to the maintenance team with Mochida san. It is from travelling around with the team that I understand how big Sakura Group is! Sakura House alone has over 1800 rooms available for rent to foreigners!
But I must say, it is really tiring to be in the maintenance team! With Tokyo's hot summer, you really don't want to be outside working!
For Sakura House residents, you may already be familiar with all of them since they will regularly visit resident areas for inspections and routine cleaning. And YES! they are the one who are there when you needed help, they are Sakura House's pest control, plumber, gas man, painter, fix-it man etc. So for all the clean rooms that you move into, you know who to thank :)

If you leave without washing your linens, you will be charged for Sakura House to wash it for you. These are the machines where those linens get washed

Tomigaya A is not your usual guesthouse, it is built in collaboration between Sakura House and a famous Japanese Architect!

Next, we went to do a routine cleaning on one of Nakano houses... and I am surprised that Mochida san knows the residents by their name!
